MVC needed to to quickly launch their new web site. So a new wordpress install, a solid worpress template and just add water. Well actually you need a litte more than that… custom graphics, good content and some serious tweaking on the css side. However, I’m always amazed to see how much wordpress and wp themes are constantly evolving. Site design for Clippard, a manufacturer of miniature pneumatic valves, cylinders and fittings. Since 1941, Clippard has not only been a leader in the field of miniature pneumatics. The goal here was to come up with a updated design and a new color palette that would be the foundation for their other marketing channels.

I have to admit that is was interesting process to avoid acting on creating better visuals. I have to say the it is completely necessary to story board and wireframe complex sites and apps… especially for the client. I’ve been involved in projects were the wire frames have gone way over board.
Click 98.9 plays what they call “Modern Music”…a lot of songs with limited interruptions. They needed a new site design. They I wanted to put emphasis on their Click icon. To help do this in an indirect way, I focused on creating a background that would incorporate the icon and draw your eye towards their brand.
