Created logo concepts for Tribune’s entertainment network. B to B product that streams entertainment content via Tribune’s various news source across the country.
Tribune Interactive department under went a reorganization and a name change (Tribune Digital). I was asked to create a concept logo that would illustrate technology, movement, intelligence, active, lift off. Along with these adjectives, I was looking to incorporate the iconic tribune building. The building itself is not only amazing look at, but it represents the history of the company. Tribune Digital operates in what used to the original printing room for the paper. The challenge for me was to figure how to draw the structure in such a way to capture the highlights of the gothic building, and marry that with a modern logo that feels digital.
2010 100k Hoopla Bracket Game is my 3 time building a bracket game. Unlike last years, we wanted to incorporate this game into Facebook.
I wanted capture the excitement essence of the March Madness bracket game. Past logos haven’t, I feel they haven’t really incorporated a bracket into the actual logo, and looking at the basketball seams… it was perfect fit to fly though a bracket.
News Yourself Father’s Day addition. The the theme here is your dad has just inducted into the Dad Hall of Fame! I wanted the design and hall of logo to have the instant feel of a sports Hall of Fame.
Make Santa’s Visit Front Page News. North Pole news allows users to easily create their own news stories that confirm that Santa is visiting your kids house… assuming you’ve been good. Some of the highlights included a map that showed the used house and santa’s flight pattern and for the Walgreen execution we place the users photo within the clients promotional banner within the app. Over all the app was sold in 12 markets total for nearly 200k in new revenue. I created the design, animation and user interface.
This is a contest where users upload a photo of their pet dressed up for Halloween. I came up with the name for the contest, design and logo. I wanted to make sure the design would look fun, light hearted and capture a strong Halloween vibe.
