I was asked to come up with a marketing concept for ZooZag. I saw this was good opportunity to animate the character.
We wanted to add some humor to the Tribune ZooZag site, so i created some fun error pages… ironically you really don’t want user to ever to see an error page. In the event they do, it’s opportunity to showcase the ZooZag character and make light of the error.
Make Santa’s Visit Front Page News. North Pole news allows users to easily create their own news stories that confirm that Santa is visiting your kids house… assuming you’ve been good. Some of the highlights included a map that showed the used house and santa’s flight pattern and for the Walgreen execution we place the users photo within the clients promotional banner within the app. Over all the app was sold in 12 markets total for nearly 200k in new revenue. I created the design, animation and user interface.
This is a contest where users upload a photo of their pet dressed up for Halloween. I came up with the name for the contest, design and logo. I wanted to make sure the design would look fun, light hearted and capture a strong Halloween vibe.
This is a mock up design I made for Tribune’s Entertainment portal. the name of the site is not yet decided on. I really wanted to capture the big red carpet event feel without getting to crazy from within content area. It was fun to create background for this site. Typically i like to draw in flash, but this time around for the poles I just drew it in Photoshop. Granted the final design will most likely have a smaller version of the background when it’s all said and done.
View Masters a blast from past reborn! WGN America was running a campaign called “My America”. The campaign was entice their viewers to send in photos they describe “My America”. In their promos they used a ViewMaster that showcased photos. What’s cool about this project is tied the flash piece into wordpress NextGen Gallery. I wanted to be able have an admin for the viewer and this was the simplest, most robust option for such quick turn around.
WGN America wants to see pictures of the places that define YOUR America! The campaign ask users to upload your digital photos for your chance to win some cool prizes. In promo video they zoom into a view master and then show the different images sliding as if you were actually looking into the viewMaster. I wanted to play off the viewMaster concept because i thought it would very intising to the audience to interact with. Challenge was to show case some photos and within the viewmaster all within the 40k ad limit. To do this I drew as much as I could as vector and reserved as much space for the images as possible.
